About CFC Skate
CFC Skate is our skateboard ministry with the purpose to spread salt and light into the
skateboarding community by sharing with them the Good News of Jesus Christ. We
do this by building relationships, being positive examples as skaters, and by
communicating the message in a way that a skateboarder can relate to. Admission
is free, and you do not have to attend Cornerstone Family Church, or any church
for that matter, in order to come. Just be willing to come hang out, skate, and
make new friends.
At CFC Skate we praise God in the best way that we know how - with our ollies,
airs, grinds, and boardslides. Come join us from 1pm. – 4p.m. on the Sundays
listed below, as we bring local skaters together for big tricks, laughter, good
times... and portable skateboard ramps. These portable ramps allow us to be
creative, and have a different set up each time we get together. That way, it'll
always be something new and challenging that will meet the needs of skaters from
all levels. The typical CFC Skate starts at 1:00. There is a 15 minute snack
break and devotional at 2:00, followed by more skating until around 4:00. We
often have a best trick contest, or game of skate where we give prizes to the
winner, but we ALWAYS have a good time.
If you are looking for a place to be accepted where you can skate and have a
great time...you have found it here. You don’t have to worry about anyone
judging you or trying to preach at you. We lead by example by sharing the love
of Jesus that we have found in our own lives. It is all about relationship...not
religion.

It is estimated that there are approximately 30 million skateboarders around the world,
with almost 18 million in the United States alone. Most of them will never set
foot inside a church. However, they will allow us as skateboarders to enter
their world, and reach their generation. For the opportunity to skate, they'll
listen to the message of who God is, and the truth of His Son Jesus Christ, and
the forgiveness of sins through His blood. That is the message we bring, simple
and clear without apology or fear.
